Malaga, malaga getaway, tenedor tours

malaga gabriella
First day in Málaga was happily spent with my friend Gabriella Ranelli @tenedor, who flew in early for the big Foodie Hub awards event. So I was tapas tour guide for the day and we had a great time catching up while I showed her around town and organised the final details with all the bars we would go to on Saturday. Once again I found myself thinking about how I could manage to live in Málaga part time. More on that later…

sandalias
Arpy @andalucinda will be so proud. Not only did I buy a pair of sandals this past week… I bought two! I picked up those very sensible Mephistos in Málaga, and today I finally ended my search for the elusive cute red sandal. Seriously, NOBODY is making cute red sandals anymore. I almost got these red Mephistos a couple of years ago – ordered them online but then it turned out they were out of stock. So I’ve basically been without red sandals all this time, if you can imagine. But I’m all stocked up now and looking forward to lots of comfortable walking for the rest of the summer (well, actually until the end of October).

Have you been taking advantage of the summer sales?
