The number of people that I’ve met first as clients on my tapas tours and then who, well, just keep coming back, continues to grow. And the wonderful part about that is that we do end up becoming friends. Like the other night with Steve & Julie (far left) who have now been here a few good times, and Roma (far right) who is on her second visit to Sevilla. In between are Neil & Maria (friends of S & J).
We all met up for a drink, which led to a small tapeo, including pringá and finishing up at one of my favourite new places Tata Pila. Poor Roma had to catch an early flight and we kept her up way too late, but a wonderful time was had by all. And now I want them to come back. xx

Meeting up with Anna @annamayer and Jorge @jorgeguitian (aka @guitianmayer) is always fun, and last night was no exception. We started off with a wine tasting at Gourmet Experience, then headed off for a short tapeo, starting with traditional tapas at 150 year old Bodega San Lorenzo. We finished the evening at the always fab La Azotea, where Anna came up with my brilliant new nickname: SHAWN OF THE BREAD. Come back soon guys!

The Twitter magic continues… with a surprise visit by Milli @milliskitchen and her family who run the gorgeous @rancherdelingles near Málaga city. I’ve known Milli and mum Miyuki (on Twitter and Instagram) for awhile now, and got to meet Milli in person when I was in London last June. So it was an extra special treat to meet the whole family, including dad David and brother Cameron. We were just going to meet up for a drink after I’d finished a lunchtime tapas tour, which somehow ended up segueing into an impromptu evening tapas tour. Fun times.
